Regionally acclaimed artist, B.J. Goetz is well known for her realist style paintings of Lake
Michigan images. She works in oil, pastel, watercolor, graphite
and ink media ranging in size from wall murals to miniatures. This Midwest artist, since the 1960’s, defines her style of fine art through a broad range of subjects and media, reflecting her creative expression. Whimsical animals are favorite subjects. B.J. believes a painting must give a message that speaks to the viewer. B.J’s works enhance a variety of galleries and commercial, professional and residential interiors. “Window peekers are welcome” is her motto as she displays paintings-in-progress that may be seen through her studio windows. Browsers may enjoy a captivating array of signed and numbered lithos, prints, and original works. A recipient of several awards, she has exhibited extensively in art shows and has demonstrated for many groups. B.J. has taught privately for many years. A northern Indiana native, she has resided in southwest Michigan with her family for most of her life. |
